1. Definitions

• “Product” - means the Poliglotter Chrome extension, offering premium features under a subscription model.

• “Monthly Subscription” – means a paid plan that automatically renews on the same calendar day of each month as the initial purchase, until canceled by the User.

• “Day” - means a period of 24 hours counted from the time of automatic renewal of the subscription.

  
  

2. Purchase and Renewal

1. By selecting a Monthly Subscription, the User agrees to an immediate charge of the chosen payment method.

2. The subscription automatically renews every month unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

3. Upon renewal, the full fee for the next subscription period will be charged.

   
   

3. Cancellation

1. The User may cancel the subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, the cancellation must be made at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the renewal date.

   
   

2. To cancel Monthly Subscription, the User must:

   • log into their Poliglotter account (via the Netflix platform),

   • go to the Payment tab,

   • click Manage Subscription,

   • and, after being redirected to Stripe, select Cancel Subscription.

     
     

4. Refunds

1. No refunds are granted for purchased subscriptions.

2. The User may cancel future renewals of the subscription at any time, provided that the cancellation is made at least one day before the start of the next billing period.

3. Fees for prior or partial months after cancellation are non-refundable.

5. Exceptions and Limitations

1. If the Product does not function as described (e.g., a technical error preventing the use of its features), the User should report the issue to customer support.

2. In such a case, the Company may, at its sole discretion, offer a discount code for the next month. However, the Company is not obligated to do so unless required by applicable local or EU law.

6. Consumer Rights

1. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights to which the User is entitled under applicable European Union law and local regulations.

2. Under Directive 2011/83/EU, a consumer User generally has the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days of its conclusion.

3. However, in the case of a digital product (the Chrome extension under a subscription model), the User agrees at the time of purchase to the immediate commencement of the service and acknowledges that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

4. No provision of these Terms excludes or limits any consumer rights arising under applicable law.
